4045

AA 4045 | Wrought aluminum; matching braze-clad chemistry only

Each value is checked in at least three authoritative issuer publications. Some issuers reproduce a shared standard; these are not independent experiments. Do not use as certified design allowables. View sources ↗

Only reviewed weight-percent bounds are listed. A blank bound means only the other threshold was reported.

6 AA 4045 wt.% chemistry limits match the United Aluminum AA-based table and Gränges EN AW braze-clad table. These are three issuer publications, not independent assays or three separately developed specifications. AA note 17 permits AW prefixes. Single numbers are maxima; unlisted elements are not zero. Only source-matched chemistry is shown, not generic mechanical, thermal, physical or joined-part performance. Gränges lists two 4045 clad variants; only its Fe 0.8 row is used here. Its stricter Fe 0.25 option is not averaged. Its Zn-addition option is excluded. AA Ti 0.20 is withheld because the Gränges row has no Ti number; Others and AA calculated density lack three unambiguous matching sources.
