AA 5251 | Wrought alloy; sheet/coil issuer publications support the listed composition

Each value is checked in at least three authoritative issuer publications. Some issuers reproduce a shared standard; these are not independent experiments. Do not use as certified design allowables. View sources ↗

Chemical composition

Only reviewed weight-percent bounds are listed. A blank bound means only the other threshold was reported.

5251 composition limits, wt.%, visually matched across the AA registered row, BlueScope sheet/coil data sheet and Smiths Advanced Metals sheet data sheet. The ten numeric fields are three issuer publications of specification limits, not independent chemical assays. Austral Wright also prints matching limits in its official catalogue (PDF p. 9); that older catalogue is retained as additional discovery evidence, not counted as a fourth claim attestation. An obsolete Smiths /pdf/ link responds with an HTML 404 page and is never a reference. Al is remainder, not a calculated minimum. Temper-, thickness- and temperature-specific properties remain staged, not generalized.
